Dawn of the Unread - Issue #14

Shelves are home to books and within these books are the stories that make us who we are. One of the books on David Belbin’s shelves is Holiday, the Booker winning novel by Stanley Middleton. In this very personal story, David tells us of his close relationship with the Bulwell author while also discussing some of the other great literary figures who have lived in Nottingham. The artwork is by Ella Joyce, and includes some reproductions of Stanley’s own paintings.
